Today, we’re pleased to announce that GridMetrix® has become GridVerix®.
GridVerix®, formerly known as GridMetrix®, is the new name for Reactive Technologies’ platform for high-resolution grid measurement and analysis. While the name and visual identity have changed, the technology, capabilities and team behind the platform remain the same.
The name GridVerix reflects what the platform stands for. “Grid” is rooted in the power systems we serve, while “Verix” is inspired by veracity: trusted, evidence-based understanding. Together, the name reflects our mission to give utilities accurate visibility into how the grid is actually behaving and help move grid stability from assumed to measured.
What is changing?
GridMetrix has become GridVerix. Customers will see GridVerix across our platform, documentation and communications.
Is GridVerix a new product?
No. GridVerix is the new name for GridMetrix. Existing customers will continue to use the same platform, with the same underlying technology, functionality and services.
Has the technology changed?
No. GridVerix provides the same grid measurement and analysis capabilities that customers already rely on today.
Do customers need to take any action?
For most customers, no action is required. Customers using APIs that reference GridMetrix domains or endpoints need to make updates as part of the transition to GridVerix. We will contact affected customers directly with the required steps and implementation timeline.
As we begin this new chapter, we look forward to continuing to support utilities around the world with the evidence and insights they need to operate a more resilient power system.
