Reactive Technologies has been awarded the prestigious Renewable Energy Project of the Year at the UK Green Business Awards 2025, held at The Brewery in London on 12 June 2025.
In a very competitive category, Reactive Technologies’ GridMetrix product stood out for its impact on significant cost and carbon savings, improved grid stability, and ability to get more renewables onto the grid around the world, particularly in collaboration with NESO:
It reduces carbon emissions and cuts costs for the UK’s energy system with an estimated annual reduction of 18m tons annually.
It has already led to a projected $92.5M in cost savings over five years for NESO and improved grid stability through enhanced situational awareness.
GridMetrix ensures 95% accuracy, in real-time inertia measurement, enabling grid operators to unlock up to 30% more grid capacity and integrate more renewables while ensuring grid resilience and reducing dependence on fossil fuel sources.
